With this decision, Logjob AG has gained an experienced expert in the Swiss logistics and supply chain industry.
Heizmann brings extensive leadership experience, having accumulated it in various management positions. Most recently, he served as Head of Goods Logistics at Swiss Post, where he was responsible for a revenue of around CHF 600 million and a team of 2,200 employees across eight European countries. In his previous career, he led various business areas within PostLogistics and was responsible for international freight forwarding, customs clearance, goods transport, warehousing logistics, and express services, among other things.
Strategic realignment in the region
Mathias Siegenthaler, Managing Director and owner of Logjob AG, expressed positive remarks about Heizmann’s appointment: “With Roland Heizmann, we gain a personality who knows our industry from decades of his own leadership responsibility. His experience, network, and understanding of people and companies fit perfectly with Logjob.” Siegenthaler emphasizes that with Heizmann’s support, Logjob AG aims to further develop the Logjob Central region and strengthen its presence in Basel and Central Switzerland.
The establishment of the Logjob Central region aims to consolidate activities in Basel and Central Switzerland under a common leadership. In this new role, Heizmann will be responsible for managing and further developing existing customer relationships and will also drive further market expansion.
